Most of us are eager to see the Moto360 in its third generation this year. The Moto 360 was one of the most sought after smartwatches of 2013, 2014 and 2015 – but failed to innovate in the last 12 months.
Most of us have been hoping for a long awaited update for quite some time now. The IFA in Berlin 2016 was our biggest hope so far, but we have not seen anything new from Lenovo so far.
A few things that we would love to see on the Moto360’s third generation smartwatch are features such as LTE support, GPS, finally get rid of the flat tire at the bottom of the screen, better and stronger battery life… and much more.
With some blogs claiming the Moto360 will come at a price of round about 400 dollars, we might just be in for a treat once it does drop. Lets hope we will get some more infos on the latest Moto360 some time soon.
The Motorola 360 Smartwatch was one of the most significant smart watch introductions in 2013 . Although the Apple watch got the most media attention and was probably the Smart watch that had the highest impact in the world it was not quite as innovative as the Lenovo Motorola 360.
Smart watches have become hot selling items in recent years. The most important smart watch on the market is the Apple watch. Although their are a legion of smart watches on the market today that mostly run on android.

The smart watch market has been a little quiet in 2016. But that doesn’t mean that nothing special is up-and-coming. Some producers such as Garmin and tom-tom have brought out some interesting Smart watches. Most of them are still focused on sports and not so much casual wear. Smart watches as an accessory or a tool for everyday use are still not that common.
It is little hard for me to understand whether this is due to the fact that the software is the bad or the battery life time of these products is simply not there where it should be.
Maybe it is something else? The early adoption rate of smart watches, especially after the introduction of the Apple watch, was quite high yet the market appears to have reached a ceiling in the very rapid rate. It appears that most young early adopters use they’re smart watches, but it’s not the only watch that they wear on a daily basis. Most watch owners use traditional watches as well as their smart watches.
The Apple watch did not seem to fit the bill for everyone, but as long as Apple and Google continue to invest Smart watches as a whole, we think that there will be quite a few product innovations in the years to come. Especially in the medical Space, as well as with a clear focus on the elderly. Health tracking and in-depth analysis of Health features Will help us better understand how are body functions and how we can prevent common diseases in the years to come.
Maybe it would help the tech industry to stop focusing on cool young audiences that only use these watches as the fashion items, but to focus more on those people that really have a need for products such as these. Of course we are not going to be able to produce one product that fits for everyone, but as a lifestyle product the smartwatch is simply not good enough at the moment.
Therefore we cannot wait to see what the next generation of Lenovo 360s will bring us…
