The news arrived via Motorola’s official Twitter feed, after a user inquired about the status of the update. Motorola mobility explained that they are having some issues to ensure that the software works great on the Moto 360. “The performance is not quite there yet”, Motorola said.
Update 12.06.2015 The roll-out of the Moto 360 Android Wear 5.1.1. update is still open. Motorola have been awfully quiet in recent days and there is very little information available about when the actual roll-out will start.

And there is find me something I can tell you, the new android wear version 5.1.1 has been released for the Motorola 360 last night. It will slowly be rolled out in the coming 24 hours to all devices worldwide. Motorola have taken quite some time to get this release perfect, probably a bit longer than many had expected it to take them. I am personally happy with the fact that Motorola took a little bit more time to make sure that they don’t put a beta version of the software on the market without having tested it themselves thoroughly.
The Android Wear update 5.1.1. for the Moto 360 has finally arrived and Motorola Mobility have started rolling out the latest version of Android Wear to all Moto 360 devices. It might take a few hours to hit your watch too, but don’t worry you will surely get it!
